Paul Whiteway is a commercial leader who has spent two decades scaling revenue and operations across APAC. After early roles at MSN UK in London and completing an MBA at London Business School, he moved to Asia with Yahoo and has led commercial organisations across more than a dozen markets. The throughline is adapting global products and processes into local playbooks that work for each market, team, and competitive context.
At Skyscanner he led growth marketing and commercial across Asia through the company's hyper-growth phase — taking APAC revenue from USD 9M to USD 80M across Japan, Korea, India and Southeast Asia, then moving into a global growth seat as Senior Director, Global Growth, where his teams delivered 200% of revenue target. He held P&L accountability for Japan and Korea as Managing Director of the Skyscanner-Yahoo Japan joint venture — the fastest-growing market in the global business. Earlier, as Chief Operating Officer of iProperty Group, the ASX-listed regional property marketplace, he ran operations across seven APAC markets; at Yahoo he built and led a 40-person regional commercial team with a 10-country remit.
Today he ships AI-native products through Studio P2, the Singapore-based product studio he co-founded. PSLEPrep is in market for Singapore exam preparation; RuleDox brings document automation discipline for generating proposals and SOWs; RIA Health Check delivers SEC compliance analysis to US investment advisers; Express More is invite-only voice AI for high-stakes negotiations. The pattern is the same — commercial discipline applied to AI products that have to work, not demo.
He has been Entrepreneur in Residence at INSEAD's Singapore campus since 2008, mentoring founder cohorts. He is actively seeking senior commercial roles — particularly Regional GM, Country Manager, or Chief Commercial seats with international companies expanding into or scaling across APAC. Through Studio P2 he also takes on selective contract, fractional, and advisory work.
